This review is well over due!! I did some research about pre K schools and I'm Beyond happy I choose this school. My daughter went for 2 years. Started in 3 year and then 4 year old program. Leaving my daughter for first time wasn't easy. But after seeing how caring and sweet the teachers are, made it very easy to let go of any worries. My daughter wanted to go and had fun with other kids and learn. Shout out to Miss Melinda me & my daughter will always remember her she was amazing & caring treated my daughter like her own. The front desk, the principle, everyone is so nice & helpful at all times. The school educational program is amazing too. My daughter is going into kindergarten knowing how read. I wish we could have stayed here going into kindergarten but we can't. But I will be forever grateful to this school all around spectrum. As a parent no need to look anywhere else. Highly recommend this school!! & Thank u challenger!!

Best place for your little one! Just like other parents, I had checked out several day cares / schools for my 2 year old. I am thankful to God that i chose to go with Challenger. Teachers, assistants, Front Desk, and the Director, they all take personal responsibility of your child. From saying that she does not want to go to school, now my daughter insists to take her back to school. Hats off to everyone there for everything you do. A heartfelt thank you!

Fantastic first school experience for our grandchild. The teachers and staff are interested in teaching and promoting learning.
Children are encouraged and parents are included in the education plan.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Crystal S.North Las Vegas, NV092Oct 6, 2019
This school pushes out any child with issues or concerns instead of addressing them properly. So why does this matter? Early intervention is highly important for help with children with special needs so they can succeed later in life. This school is not up to the task to discovering those needs and assisting your child. Right now 1 out of 56 children are autistic. That's not counting any of the other children with additional needs.
My daughter did not want to integrate with the preschool classroom. They thought it was purely a behavioral problem. We did everything they asked. She was "super smart" (their words) so they wanted to keep her, but she couldn't handle being with the group. Though she was still listening/learning from afar (again their words) They tried to physically force her resulting in major meltdowns. They ended up kicking her out. They made me feel like a failure of a parent and my child wasn't exactly excited to experience school again after that.
With the assistance of CCSD and her doctor she was diagnosed with high functioning autism. She's doing great in a general education classroom and still super smart.
My point is pick a school that will help your child no matter what the circumstances. This school isn't going to do that.Helpful 20Thanks 2Love this 2Oh no 1 - Onoy F.North Las Vegas, NV02164Jun 3, 2021
We recommend this private school. They have a great academic program and our daughter enjoyed her learning experience here. Ms. Spencer and her team ensured that the students get the best opportunity to learn and grow.

We love challenger. The administration and staff are friendly and kind. My son is in their preschool class and over winter break he kept asking when he gets to go back to school. My son was very smart before school started but challenger kept him engaged and he knows so much more already! He knows the sounds to all the letters and is starting to learn to sound out some basic words. I believe he will be able to read by the end of the school year. At the age of 3 and only halfway into the school year, he already meets the majority of requirements to enter kindergarten. Challenger is worth it. I believe that if you send your kids to challenger, they will be able to succeed in any advanced schooling. The teacher had all the kids lined up, quiet, and listening while practicing their christmas songs! That's a task even us parents have a challenge with. We are so excited to see all that our son will learn this school year and the years to come. Thank you challenger. There truly is a challenger difference.

We love challenger because my son loves to come to school learn and play. He always have a great time in school. The headmaster of the school, teachers and front desk staffs are very friendly and caring for the kids. My son is in Preschool for only 3 months, he already learn how to read and write. We really appreciated for what this school had done for our child.

From the cleanliness of the campus to the programs that are implemented. This place is an A+++.
As soon as you talk with your child, they can't stop talking about everything they did in school that day and how they love their teachers.
Walking into this school, you just feel.. comfortable, and welcome. It's a special kind of pleasure you receive from understanding the kind of foundation you are providing your child.
My wife and I are extremely proud to say our child attends Challenger School.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - S P.North Las Vegas, NV434012Mar 29, 2019

I have my children at a competing private school. I am excited to bring my children here and here is why....
If you bring your children here when they are 2 or 3..they will leave their class reading. I initially was nervous about bringing my children to a strict environment...but people...wake up. If you want your children to soar...to be independent...and to strive to be the best....bring them to challenger. Everything else doesn't compare. Some of the other schools, including private catholic...have kids in kindergarten who cannot read!!!! They are 5 and 6. That is scary. Ccsd is no different. You don't pay to like the teachers. You pay for your kids to Learn. Remember that as you look at other schools. Arts and crafts are fun, but don't teach a foundation for success.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
