Eolus North America, Inc. is a U.S.-based renewable energy company with offices in Reno, Nevada and La Jolla, California. It is a wholly-own subsidiary of Eolus Vind AB, headquartered in Sweden.

Eolus Vind AB, founded in 1990, was the first commercial wind power developer in Sweden. The company’s business concept was primarily to establish and own wind power facilities for electricity generation. However, the business concept evolved at an early stage to add the development and establishment of turnkey wind power facilities for customers. The development and establishment of turnkey facilities is now the company’s main segment. Other segments are electricity generation, and operation and management.

Eolus came to the United States in 2015. Since the company’s inception in 1990, Eolus has been involved in the construction of over 500 of the approximately 3,400 wind turbines operating across Sweden. Eolus turns over most of its projects to customers as turnkey facilities and offers a sophisticated concept for long-term wind power asset management services.

Eolus North America has two utility-scale wind projects under development in Nevada – the Crescent Peak Wind project outside of Searchlight and the Comstock Wind project located in Northern Nevada.

The company is thoroughly experienced and strongly fortified to develop, construct and operate utility-scale renewable energy projects in a manner that benefits local communities and Nevada as a whole. Several of our team members have been in the renewable energy industry since the early 1980´s and creating value is inherent to our extensive experience – including the ability to account for people, the landscape, the environment and society throughout the value chain.

Eolus North America, Inc aims to create value at all levels of project development, construction and operation of our renewable energy and energy storage facilities, and to offer attractive and competitive investment opportunities to investors in both Europe and the United States.
